More.聽At the event, an impressive statue was dedicated to Topaz’s memory,聽in the form of the letter T, which includes many elements related聽to Topaz’s character and life.聽Zeev Ibn Chen, Topaz’s father, said:聽“Topaz was born, raised and educated on the streets.
Graduated with honors from the De Shalit High School
and the Faculty of Agriculture in Rehovot
and then the Management College in Israel
(master’s degree with honors in business administration).

She was a beautiful, smart, modest and humble girl.
Loves people and animals,

surrounded by friends, loves music,
the sea, dancing and sports.

She traveled a lot in Israel and abroad and in her short life she accomplished a lot,聽
she was connected to her family and her colleague in every fiber of her soul.
Her relationship with her brother Adi was extraordinary,
they were connected to each other in their souls,
Adi wrote the song “Dreaming of You” together with the musician Avi Mesika
in it expressed his strong feelings and longings for Topaz.
Topaz would have come a long way had she not been killed. Our full appreciation to the Municipality of Rehovot led by the mayor and his team,
To the Zilbermintz company and especially to my uncle Zilbermintz,
Ze’ev Milner and Meriv Telmor Kashi for organizing the ceremony
and for the donation to finance the monument聽

which was prepared with good taste and sensitivity by the artist Israel Primo”.

Haim Klein, Amit Klein’s father said:
“…my first memory is of a toffee from the pool lawns in Kfar Bil” And on Saturdays,
running on the grass, jumping on the playground equipment,
jumping into the water constantly, a lively, energetic girl,
bright and curious eyes, and of course the eternal smile…

Later I discovered a smart, sensitive, modest,
accomplished and very task-oriented woman, her landmarks and achievements testify to Thus…”聽

The Mayor of Rehovot, Mr. Rahamim Malol:
聽“This month is a month of blossoming and planting, and
here on Topaz’s birthday we commemorate the
cruel and unimaginable death that ended her life.
We at the municipality, in cooperation with the family and the Zilberminz company,
were looking for an appropriate way to commemorate her and we chose to do so
by connecting the person to the earth,
by establishing a memorial garden where children’s laughter will be heard,
symbolizing the continuation of life despite the great pain of the family”

In the ceremony itself, two songs were performed,
one written and performed by Adi, Topaz’s brother,
and the second by Amit Klein, her husband, and performed by the creator and composer
Eyal Mazig.

Zev Milner, CEO of the Y. Zilberminz company which was a partner
in the establishment of the Memorial Garden and which donated the statue
prepared by the artist Israel Primo,
He said in his words that

“in the special relationship created between the Zilberminz company and the families,
it was only natural that when we completed the project we would
commemorate Topaz in the public garden next to it,
Not far from the place where she grew up…” A
