A memorial to the victims of hostilities in Lod

The municipality and the committee for the commemoration of the victims of terrorism and the representative of the families chose the work of the artist Israel Primo, owner of the “Natish” gallery in Ness Ziona, who specializes in the field.
The motifs chosen for the monument are 3 formal flames made of ironwork in volumes that erupt and rise from the ground to a height of 4.5 meters and a stone wall adjacent to the flames built in a half-moon shape and in which the names of the murdered are engraved on iron plates, inviting those present to gather together and unite with the memory of the 21 residents who were murdered in acts of terrorism, including 18 residents the city who have been murdered since the establishment of the state in Lod or outside it,
Two of them are not residents of Lod but were murdered in Lod.
On the eve of Remembrance Day , a ceremony was held to remove the lot in the presence of the mayor and the families of the murdered, and the monument was inaugurated in memory of the victims of terrorism, residents of the city of Lod who were murdered in hostilities and terrorism.
