Eran Galil
Born in Gedera, veteran of the Paratroopers Brigade
Live and breathe the land and its landscape
May 2009, when he turned 22
Said goodbye to us on his last trip
Eran was born and grew up in the cliffs of Ein Gadi
, after graduating from high school he enlisted and volunteered for the paratroopers and served full service.
聽聽 Eran expressed his love for the country by changing his last name before enlistment, from Garpov to Galil, because he wanted a name that he accumulated from Eretz Israel.
In the traveler forum he called himself ”聽Blue and White Sabers聽“聽and there he shared many of his trips and the amazing landscape photos he took.
Eran realized his love for our sources in the many trips he took.聽After finishing the army he preferred to travel in Israel and get to know it before traveling the world.
On the last trip, Eran was supposed to travel with a friend.聽It was a “birthday trip”, but the friend couldn’t come and Eran didn’t give up and decided to travel alone.
Eran’s worldview was the love of the land and the preservation of the green environment.聽That’s why he often preferred to ride his bike than to drive in his car, to avoid air pollution and also to get everywhere more easily.
Eran’s family decided to donate an Eretz Israelite stone in his name with a relief in the shape of a mountain climber, which will be placed on the new bike path that comes out of the grove next to聽the聽community聽center .
