The late Yehuda Hadad
1938-2005
Born and educated in the city of Rehovot,
An outstanding and multi-talented athlete, coaches and educates generations of football players.
A public figure and a role model in the streets.
A coach and player in Hapoel Marmorak’s senior team, led for the first time in history,
his city to the top league.
He worked and gave for the sake of the community, the community center and the “Kiryat Moshe” neighborhood and devoted his time and energy to the promotion and nurturing of the residents of the neighborhood.
On his initiative, a soccer field was established in the neighborhood, which provided an equal opportunity and a supporting and capturing infrastructure for the growth of athletes from the Ethiopian community, whom he warmly adopted, trained and nurtured.
His enriching activity in the field of football was a lever for strengthening the various sports in Rehovot.
At the basis of his broad-based actions lies integrity and belief in the righteousness of his path,
“The giver does not ask for anything in return for his giving”
A dedicated, humble and person-loving family man.
Died in 8th Bayer 5655, 17.5.2005, being only 67 years old.
