\nMajor Avraham (Avi) Maimon<\/strong><\/p>\n

Major Avraham (Avi) Maimon was born in Givatayim on the fourth day of the\u00a03rd<\/span>\u00a0tribe, January 7, 1973\u00a0, and\u00a0<\/span>was<\/span>\u00a0educated there all his
\nlife\u00a0.\u00a0Clai, in 1991\u00a0.\u00a0<\/span>My father was involved in sports all his life and excelled in it alongside his excellence in many academic subjects.\u00a0\u00a0After his studies, he enlisted for service in the “Dokifat” cruiser.\u00a0And during his service he became an officer and company commander in the unit.\u00a0My father, loyal to the values \u200b\u200bhe grew up with, led his soldiers to excellence, values \u200b\u200band adherence to the mission.\u00a0The day before his fall, my father rescued a force of soldiers that was trapped in enemy territory and for that he received special appreciation from the commanding general.\u00a0On the 13th day of Tashri 5777, September 26, 1996, my father’s force was caught up in mass riots,\u00a0violence and massive shooting.\u00a0My father, the commander of the force, made sure that his soldiers took cover,<\/p>\n

But he, who was last, was hit by an enemy bullet.
\nMy father left parents, a brother and a sister and many loving friends.
\nOf blessed memory.<\/p>\n
