\u00a0“…innocent and victorious, you went and did not sabbath,<\/strong>
\nbeautiful and radiant you will forever remain,<\/strong>
\nyour smile will be in our hearts forever…”\u00a0<\/strong>Friday 1\/23\/13, on Topaz’s birthday,<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0the “Topaz Garden”\u00a0<\/strong>inauguration event took place<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0in the “Eisenberg-Gordon” project of Y. Zilberminz company in Rehovot.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0At the “Topaz Garden” dedication ceremony, many friends of the family were present,\u00a0<\/strong>who came to pay their respects to the dedication of the garden and to celebrate Topaz’s birthday.\u00a0<\/strong>In addition to the friends,\u00a0<\/strong>the ceremony was also honored by the presence of the Mayor of Rehovot, Mr. Rahami Malol\u00a0<\/strong>, and the CEO of the Y. Zilbarminz company, Zev Milner, and dignitaries. More.\u00a0<\/strong>At the event, an impressive statue was dedicated to Topaz’s memory,\u00a0<\/strong>in the form of the letter T, which includes many elements related\u00a0<\/strong>to Topaz’s character and life.\u00a0<\/strong>Zeev Ibn Chen, Topaz’s father, said:\u00a0<\/strong>“Topaz was born, raised and educated on the streets.<\/strong>
\nGraduated with honors from the De Shalit High School
\nand the Faculty of Agriculture in Rehovot
\nand then the Management College in Israel
\n(master’s degree with honors in business administration).<\/strong>
\nShe was a beautiful, smart, modest and humble girl.
\nLoves people and animals,<\/strong>
\nsurrounded by friends, loves music,
\nthe sea, dancing and sports.<\/strong>
\nShe traveled a lot in Israel and abroad and in her short life she accomplished a lot,\u00a0<\/strong>
\nshe was connected to her family and her colleague in every fiber of her soul.<\/strong>
\nHer relationship with her brother Adi was extraordinary,
\nthey were connected to each other in their souls,<\/strong>Adi wrote the song “Dreaming of You” together with the musician Avi Mesika
\nin it expressed his strong feelings and longings for Topaz.<\/strong>Topaz would have come a long way had she not been killed<\/strong>. Our full appreciation to the Municipality of Rehovot led by the mayor and his team,
\nTo the Zilbermintz company and especially to my uncle Zilbermintz,
\nZe’ev Milner and Meriv Telmor Kashi for organizing the ceremony
\nand for the donation to finance the monument\u00a0<\/strong>
\nwhich was prepared with good taste and sensitivity by the artist Israel Primo”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Haim Klein, Amit Klein’s father said:<\/strong>
\n“…my first memory is of a toffee from the pool lawns in Kfar Bil” And on Saturdays,
\nrunning on the grass, jumping on the playground equipment,
\njumping into the water constantly, a lively, energetic girl,
\nbright and curious eyes, and of course the eternal smile…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Later I discovered a smart, sensitive, modest,
\naccomplished and very task-oriented woman, her landmarks and achievements testify to Thus…”\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Mayor of Rehovot, Mr. Rahamim Malol:<\/strong>
\n\u00a0“This month is a month of blossoming and planting, and
\nhere on Topaz’s birthday we commemorate the
\ncruel and unimaginable death that ended her life.
\nWe at the municipality, in cooperation with the family and the Zilberminz company,
\nwere looking for an appropriate way to commemorate her and we chose to do so
\nby connecting the person to the earth,
\nby establishing a memorial garden where children’s laughter will be heard,
\nsymbolizing the continuation of life despite the great pain of the family”<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the ceremony itself, two songs were performed,<\/strong>
\none written and performed by Adi, Topaz’s brother,
\nand the second by Amit Klein, her husband, and performed by the creator and composer
\nEyal Mazig.<\/strong>
\nZev Milner, CEO of the Y. Zilberminz company which was a partner
\nin the establishment of the Memorial Garden and which donated the statue
\nprepared by the artist Israel Primo,
\nHe said in his words that<\/strong><\/p>\n

“in the special relationship created between the Zilberminz company and the families,
\nit was only natural that when we completed the project we would
\ncommemorate Topaz in the public garden next to it,
\nNot far from the place where she grew up…” A<\/strong><\/p>\n
